Ryan Wyatt, YouTube’s head of gaming joining Polygon, has made whales buy Matic.
Ryan Wyatt, YouTube’s head of gaming, decided to leave the video-sharing platform in February and join Polygon Studios as their CEO.
In response, Polygon Studios presented a warm welcome to its new CEO and said they would love to work with him.
Regarding his new role, Wyatt said
“I will be focusing on growing the developer ecosystem through investment, marketing, and developer support and bridging the gap between Web 2.0 and 3.0. I’ll be leading the Polygon Studios organization across gaming, entertainment, fashion, news, sports, and more.”
Following this news, the top 1000 Ethereum whales jumped to eat the dip of MATIC aggressively.
In the last 24-hours, the 272nd-largest Ethereum whale has accumulated a total of 3,185,778 MATIC coins, valued at $5,262,819 in two transactions. The data is provided by WhaleStats – the top 1000 Ethereum whale-monitoring bot.
Looking into the Whale’s wallet, we found Polygon (MATIC) as his third-biggest holding with 9,612,316 MATIC coins, valued at $16,257,418. However, the stable coin Tether (USDT) is still his top holding which signals that this whale may accumulate more MATIC coins in the coming few hours or days.
Following this accumulation, another Ethereum whale rushed to buy MATIC coins. This whale is seen as more aggressive while accumulating MATIC than the first one. The whale is currently ranked as the #236 largest whale of Ethereum. This Ethereum whale accumulated a total of 35,262,507 MATIC coins for $58,535,762 in two transactions.
The third whale also joined in relishing Matic buying party, ranked 4th among the top 1000 ETH wallets, the whale accumulated 819,897 Matic for $13,229,846.
Such massive buying also made Matic become the most traded coin among the Top 1000 ETH wallets flipping chainlink.
In total, the whales accumulated 39,268,181 worth $60,080,316 in 24 hours. Even though such massive buying is not helping the coin price, Matic is trading at $1.54, falling 2.54% in 24 hours.
